Lions, Tigers and Shots? Oh my!

We had a busy day today! We decided to go to the zoo, before I go back to work tomorrow, and we also had Max's 2-month check up scheduled. He slept through most of the zoo, but it turned out to be a really nice family outing.

Max was a tough little guy getting his shots . . . he only cried for a minute. It was definitely harder on me! He now weighs 12 lbs. 9 ounces and is 23 1/2 inches long! He's in the 75th percentile on everything. We just can't believe how fast time is going. :(

A Day of Firsts!

Tuesday we all spent the day at Mom and Dad's. The boys and I got there early and went swimming and Max took his first dip in the pool. He wasn't very excited at first (the water was cooler than his bath water), but he got used to it and actually fell asleep in my arms.

After Tim got off work, he met us at Mom and Dad's and we all (my sister's family too) went out on Dad's boat. Max enjoyed the wind in his hair and, of course, fell asleep.

One month check-up!

We took Max for his one month check-up last Wednesday and he is growing like a weed!!! He weighed 9 lbs. 11 oz. (which is what his daddy weighed when he was born) and was 23 inches long! He is doing great and is starting to get the cutest little personality. He smiles all the time and loves to be talked to. He is trying so hard to talk himself, it's so cute! We can't get over how much he changes every day and it seems he does something new every day. He has learned he can move his eyebrows and raises and lowers them often . . . it's hilarious! I've been a little camera happy lately!

Bath Time!
